Shark scare influences longboard finals

ON Saturday, April 27 Phillip Island Boardriders Club (PIBC) had ripper conditions for Longboard 4, with a possible shark influencing the finals!

With a large, thrashing shape casting spray 100m from the break, the finals were halted for a beat until the coast was deemed clear.

ndrew McHenry and team delivered at Cat Bay, with Zev Landes sketching the events and Andrew Lidsey and Jo O'Reilly Stubbs capturing the surf action on cameras in and out of the water.

Phillip Island Rip Curl, Pottery by Jerrie and Phillip Island Winery sponsored the athlete's prizes.
