Camp out for a cause supports Flying Fox charity this August

1 min read

FAMILIES, friends, and community groups are invited to roll out the swags and join in One Night Outside, a feel-good fundraising event at Park Lane Holiday Parks on Saturday 30 August 2025.

Held simultaneously across multiple Park Lane Holiday Park locations, One Night Outside offers guests the chance to enjoy an unforgettable night of camping, connection, and community, all while raising funds for Flying Fox, a not-for-profit organisation that delivers life-changing experiences for young people with and without disability.

“We’re so grateful and excited to be the charity partner for Park Lane’s 2025 One Night Outside,” says Dean Cohen OAM, founder of Flying Fox. “We’ve had the privilege to host many of our overnight programs at Park Lane’s exceptional parks, and we feel lucky to be supported by such a strong, generous community coming together to camp for a cause.”

There’s something for everyone, with kids activities, a fundraising BBQ, hot chocolate stations, music, entertainment, and of course, a classic Aussie campout atmosphere.

“It’s all about bringing people together in a relaxed setting, having a great time, and supporting a really important cause,” says Dan Wallwork from Park Lane Holiday Parks.

“This is a chance to make memories with your family or friends while helping Flying Fox continue their incredible work.”

100% of camping site fees and 10% of all glamping and cabin proceeds from the night will be donated to Flying Fox.

Local participating parks include: BIG4 Phillip Island Park Lane Holiday Park and BIG4 Wonthaggi Park Lane Holiday Park. Spaces are limited and bookings are filling fast.
