Discover Myli’s Library of Things

1 min read

YOU might be surprised at what you can borrow from your local library. Imagine being able to borrow an ice cream maker for a weekend treat, a GoPro to capture your next adventure, or even a paddleboard for a day out on the water. That’s exactly what Myli’s Library of Things (LOT) offers.

The Library of Things is a collection of useful, fun and practical items available for Myli members to borrow, just like a book. It’s designed to help the community try new experiences, save money, and reduce waste. Instead of buying something you might only use once or twice, you can borrow it from the library.

Some of the most popular items include the Home Energy Efficiency Kit, Thermal Imaging Camera, Cake Tins, Reusable Party Kit, Bird Watching Kits and Digital Film Scanner. Crafty members enjoy borrowing the overlocker and sewing machine, while families love the phonics kits and enjoy movie nights with the outdoor projector.

We’re also excited to introduce two brand new additions: an Ice Cream Maker, perfect for experimenting with flavours at home, and a Dungeons and Dragons Kit, which comes with everything you need to start your own adventure. These join a collection that is constantly growing in response to what our community wants.

To borrow from the Library of Things, just sign up for a free LOT membership at your local Myli branch. Complete a quick registration form, then browse and reserve items online for pickup.

The Library of Things is about more than just borrowing. It’s about sharing, learning and connecting with your community. Whether you’re baking, exploring nature, trying a new hobby or planning a family day out, there’s something in the collection for you. For more information, visit our website: myli.au/libraryofthings.
