Xavier Rudd is coming to Ocean Sounds Festival this January

THE Ocean Sounds Festival has announced that Australian musician and most-voted act Xavier Rudd will perform live on stage at Churchill Island this January 6, with the full lineup to be announced on August 24.

Xavier Rudd has earned accolades of every kind and touched people’s lives across the globe.

The community voted for the iconic artist who was most recently awarded Environmental Music Prize Winner in 2023 and who used to surf the waters of the island as a child.

Looking back over Xavier's outstanding career, one could easily ask what is possibly left for him to achieve. Already one of Australian music's all-time greats, he has touched people's lives worldwide. Beginning his career with 2002's definitive To Let, Xavier Rudd put his message out into the world and was answered immediately.

It was the start of a journey that would span well over 15 years (and counting); taking Xavier to almost every continent on the planet, where he has connected with people from all cultures and walks of life. There are no borders that apply to Xavier Rudd's music.
