TO BE HELD over the weekend of August 4-6 across five venues in Inverloch, this year’s Festival is shaping up to be a beauty.
Featuring new, youthful bands, plus old favourites, the Festival starts with a band with a sensational Gala Concert on Friday August 4.
With popular and highly acclaimed local Big Band, Streeton Court opening the concert, followed by sought-after Shirazz, this will be an evening and weekend to remember.
Shirazz meld raucous, high-energy trad jazz, laid back Louisiana street beats and sleazy and salacious blues in their witty and irreverent live show.
Shirazz perform regularly across Australia and overseas.
The organisers are proud to have both new and continuing partners in 2023 to ensure the Festival is the best it can be.
Bass Coast Shire Council is again our proud major sponsor and Mayor Councillor Michael Whelan, as a passionate musician himself is delighted for Bass Coast to support the Festival and showcase the region’s thriving live music scene.
Lifestyle Communities Phillip Island have joined us this year, as have Ray White Inverloch, as our preferred accommodation partner through Inverloch Accommodation.
Long term supporters Alex Scott and Staff, The Inverloch Men’s Shed, Inverloch Lions Club, Warrawee and Sea Books Press are also pleased to again be part of this important event.
So, check the website: www.invyjazz.com and get your tickets to this long-standing annual music Festival and celebration of our region.
Keep in mind, that as one of the longest, continuous running, annual Festivals, next year will be Invy Jazz Festival’s 30th anniversary.
