Gas leak reported Wednesday evening in North Wonthaggi

POLICE, fire and a gas fitter are on the scene of a reported gas leak in Mary Street Wonthaggi North.

Details are scant at this stage, but the problem appears to be located on a residential property.

The incident was posted on the Vic Emergency website and app at about 5pm.

It is recommended that people avoid the location until the problem is resolved.
