Ignoring flood risks

WE WENT for a trip during the school holidays, up through Longwarry, Koo Wee Rup, Bass, etc.

We were amazed at all the beautiful homes that councils have allowed to be built on flat land, flat on the ground, concrete slabs, no doubt in flood prone areas.

What is wrong with their brains?

We don’t just have the rain, all rain that falls on roofs, car parks, all buildings goes to the run-off to floods.

Rain is not caught in tanks these days.

The more we see of councils etc., common sense is not used, in most places.

Trees over houses is another problem.
