I HAVE lived in the Korumburra district all my life. I have coped with many changes, some very stupid like the present elderly citizens being kicked out of their ideal home in Radovick Street. Level walking and parking, and central.
A very artistic garden layout at “The Hub”, it is a beautiful building, but the surrounds are tragic. No parking to suit young or old, to say nothing of the very long walk, if you can walk!
Parking is taken up by staff, their staff and surrounding shops and businesses.
A new building, but the lift has not been working for ages. Where have those idiots that insisted on putting this building on one of the steepest areas of our town been educated and lived, city perhaps?
What will the main street be like after its “makeover”. I dread to think. Leongatha’s is artistic but it is all footpaths not serviceable for shoppers, we don’t all have time to sit by the hour drinking coffee out on the footpaths.
