Monash photo hunt is on for Aldred’s Christmas card
Entries are open until Sunday, September 27 for Monash residents to have their photo feature on Mary Aldred’s 2026 Christmas card.
FEDERAL Monash MP Mary Aldred has launched her 2026 Christmas card photo competition, calling on residents to submit their best shots of the electorate.
The competition is open to Monash residents of all ages and abilities, with entries closing on Sunday, September 27 at 5pm.
Last year’s winner, Chris Hardy of Nilma, captured a photo at Toorongo Falls near Noojee that appeared on Ms Aldred’s 2025 Christmas card.
“Monash is home to some of Australia’s most stunning scenery, from beautiful beaches and rolling green hills to snow-capped mountains and picturesque towns,” Ms Aldred said.
“If you’ve captured a stunning photo of our area, including Bass Coast, South Gippsland, Latrobe or Baw Baw, I’d love to see it.”
“The winning photo will feature on my 2026 Christmas card, which is sent out across the Monash electorate,” she said.
“I encourage everyone to scroll through your camera roll or grab your camera and start snapping.”
Photos can be entered by emailing mary.aldred.mp@aph.gov.au before entries close.
