ON Friday, August 1, the Preps at San Remo Primary School celebrated their 100th day of school. All students across the school were invited to dress up, and Prep teacher Tracey Wilson said the children's costumes were very creative. “We saw some students dressed as 100-year-olds, others decorating clothing to represent the number 100 in tally marks, buttons or facts about animals.”
“We started the day with a student parade, where the families were all invited. After our parade, we represented 100 in lots of ways in the classroom - completing our 100th page of Today’s Number Is… creating a Snakes and Ladders game as well as counting by tens to create Fruit Loop necklaces.”
