POLICE were called to a crash in Dalyston this morning (May 22) following reports the rider of a motorcycle had crashed about 7am.
Officers have been told the rider, travelling along the Bass Highway near Heslop Road, lost control after overtaking several cars.
The male rider, believed aged in his 40s, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Local police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
