AS PART of Book Week celebrations, award-winning Australian author, sportswriter, podcaster and educator Nicole Hayes visited all three campuses of Bass Coast College from August 19–21.

Students from Years 7–11 took part in Author Talks and Writing Workshops, gaining insights into Nicole’s writing journey, storytelling process, and the power of diverse voices in literature.

Best known for her young adult and junior fiction exploring identity, resilience and sport—particularly AFL—Nicole is also a co-host of the acclaimed podcast The Outer Sanctum. 

Bass Coast College thanks Nicole for sharing her expertise and inspiring students to discover stories in sport and everyday life.
