AT THE Wholelife Power of Possibility Conference 2025, held in Sydney, Tiana Giardina was awarded the Spotlight Award for her exceptional work at WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods in Mirboo North.

The Spotlight Award shines a light on a team member who consistently goes above and beyond in their role, and upon receiving her award from MC Dave Hughes and being recognised as the only Victorian winner, Tiana said she feels so grateful for all the opportunities this role has given her. 

“I truly love my job and the team I work with, and I feel that it is here that I have found my place,” Tiana said. 

“I believe in the power of positive energy, and what you put out, you will receive in return, and this past week has proven that! I feel so fortunate to have been acknowledged for my work.” 

Tiana’s week was filled with incredible experiences, from climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge to enjoying a free opera house ticket and connecting with brand representatives. 

“It was such a whirlwind, and the insight I picked up during the trade fair is something that I’m eager to bring back to our store.” 

Mirboo North, WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods, which only opened last year, was also a finalist for both Pharmacy of the Year and the Community Champion Award, and Connie Giardina was nominated for Retail Manager of the Year at the 2025 conference. 

Tiana said her commitment extends beyond her day-to-day tasks; she runs the store’s social media pages and organises in-store events for the community. 

“Being one of ten finalists and the only winner from Victoria is truly surreal,” she said, acknowledging the recognition while remaining humble. 

Last year, Tiana participated in the Go Girls Foundation program, which played a pivotal role in boosting her self-confidence. 

“I’ve always been a confident person, but the Go Girls Foundation helped me believe in myself.” 

Looking forward, Tiana is thrilled to take part in the PICAL Women’s Health event on September 5, hoping to empower other women.
