Students shine at the Good Food and Wine Show

BASS Coast College are thrilled to share that four of our talented students had the incredible opportunity to attend the Good Food and Wine Show in Melbourne from Thursday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1. 

Throughout the event, they worked alongside none other than Andrew Ballard, the esteemed captain of the bronze and silver medal-winning Australian Culinary Olympic Team!

This experience allowed our students to gain hands-on insight into the world of professional gastronomy, refine their skills, and network with some of Australia’s top culinary experts. Their dedication and enthusiasm were truly inspiring, and we are so proud of them for embracing this remarkable learning experience.

A huge thank you to Andrew Ballard and his team of chefs for their mentorship and guidance – we can’t wait to see how this experience shapes the future of our aspiring chefs!
