POLICE have arrested a man after a dangerous driving event in Wonthaggi on February 16.
It is believed a car was spotted driving at excess speed along the Bass Highway about 11.35pm.
Officers were told the car then was seen driving erratically within Wonthaggi’s CBD, before deliberately driving at pedestrians on Gordon Street.
It is believed the car then took off along Gordon Street, where it was involved in a collision with another vehicle, before colliding with a third car a short time later.
No one was injured.
A 21-year-old Corinella man is assisting police with their enquiries.
