Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Wonthaggi Plaza on Saturday evening (September 27) around 8.30pm.

POLICE have arrested a 36-year-old male from Wonthaggi following an alleged incident in Wonthaggi on September 27.

It is alleged the incident took place outside a shopping centre on Biggs Drive in the carpark of Wonthaggi Plaza about 8.30pm.

Police located the man and arrested him shortly after.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has CCTV/video footage, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
