Police appeal for witnesses, dashcam after Wattle Bank fatality

Police on the scene of an early morning fatality on the Inverloch-Kongwak Road on Friday, March 1.

POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Kongwak on Friday morning, March 1.

Emergency services were called to Inverloch-Kongwak Road just before 6am after a car was discovered off the roadway.

It is believed the car left the road and rolled into a paddock sometime early in the morning.

On arrival, crews located the deceased driver, who is yet to be formally identified, in the vehicle.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash, including the time of the incident, are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
