Multi-award-winning Grassy Spur Olives

RAY White Foster is thrilled to introduce to the market Grassy Spur Olives.

Grassy Spur Olives is situated in picturesque South Gippsland, two hours southeast of Melbourne, on the doorstep of some of Victoria’s best beaches and Wilsons Promontory National Park.

The Grassy Spur Olive Grove was planted initially in Easter 2005 with about 800 trees. Further plantings occurred over the following years, and it has grown now to over 1500 trees.

The olive grove boasts four varietals of olives divided into separate groves, and 100 oak-inoculated truffle trees in a separate grove. An apiary of bee hives located in the centre of the property also aids pollination of the grove and produces another product to be sold – Grassy Spur Pure Honey.

All olives are processed onsite within hours of picking. This contributes to consistent high-quality EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) that has been recognised as gold quality nationally and internationally in the New York Olive Oil Competition.

Grassy Spur Olives has participated in the National Australian Olive Association Awards since 2011 and medalled consistently since.

The property, being 25 acres (approx.), accommodates a beautiful locally built Considine and Johnston three-bedroom, two-bathroom family home. The home, with magnificent rural views, is open plan with a modern kitchen, master with ensuite, large light-filled rooms, polished timber floors, solid fuel heating, RC/AC and more.

Other key features of the property include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assorted shedding (plant, processing, machinery)
• 10kw Solar and battery system plus solar hot water
• Fully operational olive processing plant
• Tasting room set up for sampling and sales
• Drought-proof water supply via two large dams
• Underground fire bunker
• Established low-maintenance gardens
• Established tracks for easy access around the property

Grassy Spur Olives presents as a genuine opportunity to secure an award-winning venture with income potential, growth potential & lifestyle potential. Full training will be provided to the successful purchasers by the current owners (who are looking to downsize but stay in the area).
