THE Breakers came out strong with an early goal from Tess Wingfield, setting the tone.
Molly Conroy converted a set shot midway through the quarter to extend the Breakers' lead, with Ella Cargill adding the visitors' third late in the quarter.
In the second quarter, Nikki Williams and Lily Jack were lively in the forward line with Immy Bradford working hard up the ground, often outnumbered, creating a lot of the forward opportunities.
Despite having all of the play, the Breakers only added one goal to their tally, coming as a result of some great contested play from Ella Cargill.
The Breakers again dominated the third quarter without much to show on the scoreboard; however, great linking play down the field was still great to watch.
Katie Cornish marked strongly and brought her usual hard attack on the ball to stop anything getting past half back.
Warragul finally broke through early in the last, but it didn’t take long for the Breakers to regain momentum. Tess Angarane was first to capitalise with a contested mark and set shot conversion.
Annie Dempsey, who was having a real impact around the ground, was next with a lovely goal on the run.
Ella Cargill capped off a great performance with a bounce running into the goal to register her third for the game just before the siren.
