THE lanes were glowing, the music pumping and the community spirit was brighter than ever as the Phillip Island Tenpin Bowling and Entertainment Centre hosted a special Fluro Bowling Fundraiser.
The fundraiser was in support of Our Lady Star of the Sea’s aerobics team.
This event was a huge success, raising $1950 to help get the team to Hobart for the upcoming National Championships.
Families, friends and local supporters came together in their best 80s-inspired glow outfits, enjoying an afternoon of bowling, laser tag, arcade games and plenty of fun – all while backing a great cause.
A highlight of the night was the team’s energetic performance of their winning routine, giving everyone a taste of what they’ll be bringing to the national stage.
Their dedication and passion were truly inspiring, and it’s no surprise they’ve made it this far.
“We enjoyed an amazing evening thanks to Jeremy and his staff at Phillip Island Bowling,” team coach and teacher Lisa Bennett said.
“Their generosity and community commitment was greatly appreciated by the families of Our Lady Star of the Sea with nothing but praise and gratitude for this support.”
