THE Wonthaggi Clay Target Club (WGC) showcased outstanding skill and determination in the second round of the Southern Triangle series, held at Mornington Clay Target Club Inc, with members bringing home a string of impressive results.

Leading the charge was Brendan McRae, who shot a flawless round in the 50-target handicap, becoming the only shooter to score a perfect 50/50.

Strong efforts were also delivered by Stuart Allen, Steven Fox, David Kent, and Mel Chapman, all earning wins or placings in their respective events. The 50-target double barrel shoot-off saw three

Steven Fox scored 50/50 + 44/45

David Kent followed closely with 50/50 + 48/49

Stuart Allen posted a massive 50/50 + 129/130

With these results, Wonthaggi continues to lead the series heading into the final round, which will be held this Saturday, July 19, at Nepean Clay Target Club Inc.
