ORGANISERS of the eagerly anticipated NYE on the Hill festival have called for applications from volunteers as the festival releases its full 2026 musical line-up.
Described as "one of the Farmer's best-kept secrets," the volunteer program offers music lovers a unique opportunity to contribute to the festival’s signature community atmosphere.
Management is currently recruiting a dedicated team of enthusiastic festival staff and volunteers to fill a wide variety of operational crew positions across the site.
Successful applicants will join the core crew behind the scenes to help facilitate the smooth running of the event while experiencing the collaborative spirit that defines the boutique gathering.
This year’s theme focuses on a collective "time-travel" journey, celebrating deep social connections and fresh musical discoveries in the festival's picturesque landscape.
Australian DJ Brent Honey joins an eclectic lineup that features diverse electronic and dance acts alongside international heavyweights and local favourites. His extensive touring pedigree includes over 250 sets worldwide, with notable European appearances at Intercell, Teletech, and Echelon.
Torren Foot, the inner-west Melbourne DJ backed by industry titans like Calvin Harris and Charli XCX, will bring his global TikTok hit New Bottega to the stage. Joining them will be daezy, the vibrant Naarm indie-pop-rock project fronted by a former AFLW player turned musician and rising electronic selector Lexï.
They will be joined by West Australian duo Old Mervs, fresh off a massive breakout year featuring a self-titled debut album and a top-40 triple j Hottest 100 hit with "What You’ve Lost".
Rounding out the rock-infused lineup is Pacific Avenue, bringing their massive streaming hits and acclaimed sounds from their celebrated album Flowers to the festival stage.
Darcie Haven, the breakout Esperance indie-pop sensation behind the hit sophomore EP Angel of the Apocalypse, brings her massive "Darciverse" following to the Hill. Joining her will be Melbourne’s ultimate morning tastemaker and long-time PBS FM Breakfast host Milo Eastwood, fresh off packed festival sets at Meredith and Golden Plains.
Rounding out the announced line-up are Brisbane indie-rock heavyweights Mid Drift, who spent the last year selling out national tours and sharing stages with Ocean Alley.
With the complete music schedule now public and the full group of artists locked in organisers have issued a warning to prospective attendees that ticket sales are accelerating rapidly and have urged patrons to secure their entry early to avoid missing out on the countdown.
