WHETHER you’re looking to beat the heat, avoid a wet summers day or simply searching for something to spark imagination over the summer break, Myli (My Community Library) has a vast range of school holiday activities designed to engage and inspire young minds.
From storytelling to creative craft, there’s something for all ages to enjoy.
The holiday season can get expensive, but at Myli it’s FREE! All you need to do is jump online to www.myli.org.au and search for a holiday program near you. There are a range of events throughout Bass Coast and South Gippsland and the library is a safe family friendly space to feel creative and connected.
Within the Bass Coast Shire, the Phillip Island Library and Inverloch Library are hosting an interactive story time session with award-winning author Andrea Rowe featuring her beloved picture books In the Rockpool and Amid the Sand Dunes. Participants will enjoy lively story sharing, movement activities, and take-home crafts. This event is perfect for ages 2-6, with older and younger sibling’s welcome. Andrea will be at Phillip Island Library on January 16 from 10.30AM, followed by the Inverloch Library at 2.30PM (January 16).
