THE Walker family may have just broken a Leongatha and District Cricket Association record for the number of family members playing in the same team.
Dad Matt Walker and his four sons Luke, Bryon, Tane and Jay all played today for OMK C1 at Digger Park in Leongatha South.
“We all play cricket, and our sister plays netball,” said the boys.
Reflecting on a lifetime of backyard cricket particularly at Christmas the boys all agreed the cricket can get quite competitive.
“Its never over until the ball goes over the fence.”
“The brother with the most runs wins.”
The boys only admit to having broken a window once.
“We have an understanding mother.”
