CWA Bass Group creative arts exhibition at Loch
Country Women’s Association (CWA) Bass Group will host its 71st Anniversary Creative Arts Exhibition at the Loch Public Hall on Saturday and Sunday April 11 and 12.
LOCH Public Hall will transform into a hub of tradition and talent this month when the Country Women’s Association (CWA) Bass Group hosts its 71st Anniversary Creative Arts Exhibition.
Marking seven decades and one year of community spirit, the event will showcase the finest regional handiwork across a diverse range of disciplines. Visitors can explore vibrant displays of needlework, knitting, crochet, and photography, alongside the competitive home industries categories featuring prized local cooking and preserves.
“This is our 71st anniversary, so there will be plenty of celebrating,” said the Bass Group.
The hall will be packed with a gorgeous mix of art, craft, preserves, and home cooking.
No CWA event is complete without their signature Devonshire teas. You can enjoy a homemade lunch or relax with a cuppa and a scone in the cosy café corner.
Browse the popular trading table for bargain craft supplies or take home some delicious preserves lovingly made by local CWA members. Everyone is welcome.
While the Bass Group celebrates its local milestone, CWA Victoria is already preparing for the 91st State Exhibition of Creative Arts in Geelong, with over 270 sections to enter.
Every entry in the State Exhibition receives a written comment from the judges to provide feedback on individual entries and encourage members to do better next time.
Entering is a great learning experience, especially if you are able to visit the exhibition and see your work on display, side by side with other CWA members’ work.
The 2026 State Exhibition of Creative Arts will be held in Geelong on Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, 2026. Entries close 5 pm Friday, July 31, 2026.
The Bass Group CWA Creative Arts Exhibition will be held from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, April 11, and 9.30 am to 3.30 pm on Sunday, April 12, at the Loch Public Hall.
