Loch night market gets Christmas started — Greer Arnott is just in the process of establishing her own business featuring functional and ornamental ceramics. Look for her at Loch and Poowong markets.

WE’RE tipping the Loch Village’s first night Christmas Market will become a regular feature of the community calendar after the success of the inaugural market last Friday night.

Victoria Street was positively bulging with Christmas cheer including Christmas gift ideas from local craft and produce people and plenty of fine food and beverages on offer as well.

Michelle and Grant Johnston are Grantelle Grove metal sculptures of Nyora. What started out as a hobby 11 years ago has taken over their lives with a huge array of curious artworks created from just about anything.

His business is all about ‘tools and jewels’ made from all sorts of scrap and Trevor Wheeler of Sandy Point was quite a hit at the Loch Christmas Market last Friday night.

The Loch Primary School Choir accompanied by the South Gippsland Concert Band were a delight and right through to 8pm, there were good numbers in the street enjoying the goodwill that’s the most important part of the festive season.
