POLICE have provided new details about the tragic deaths of three Korumburra residents and the hospitalisation of another, allegedly as a result of eating a meal of poisonous mushrooms, with symptoms consistent with consuming Death Cap mushrooms.
Homicide Detective Inspector Dean Thomas fronted the media at 2.45pm today, Monday, August 7- and while he revealed new details in the case, he stressed that the deaths were simply "unexplained" at this stage, and that the involvement of homicide police did not mean the deaths were suspicious.
