Bus fire in Cowes declared under control

CFA crews arrived to find a bus on fire at the Concourse in Cowes this morning at 9:35am. The scene has been declared safe, and the crew remains on site.

CFA responded to a non-structure fire at approximately 9:35 am on today (Tuesday, June 17) at the Concourse in Cowes. Crews arrived to find a bus on fire. The bus was located in the open, away from other buses and structures.

CFA had two units on the scene from Phillip Island.

The incident was declared under control at 9:47 am.

Crews remain on site.
