THE Inverloch Jazz Festival is underway at Inverloch Saturday (Aug 2) and Sunday (Aug 3) with a big weekend of top class entertainment across four locations.
Performing to a full house at the Inverloch Hub Friday night the Streeton Court Big Band and Mark Morand’s Great Composers tribute to Cole Porter got things jumping.
The Royal Australian Navy Big Band headlines Saturday morning with repeat performances by the Arandu Band, Streeton Court Big Band and Mark Morand’s Great Composers (2).
Sunday morning will feature the Salvation Army Big Band at The Hub followed by the South Gippsland Concert Band.
Over at the Warrawee Club look for Ladies Be Good, Geoff Kluke Quartet, Cul De Sac, Deep South Brass, Mango Juice Latin, Bird Conference, Hello January, G-Tano and Dancing Qualia.
The RSL will have the Black Notes Trio, Ruby Glynn Quartet, Juxtaposed, Jan and Tonic, Lee Jones Quintet, Ron Anderson Trio, Jackson Wade Band, Well Versed Harris Duo, Todd Sidney Trio and the Josh Fotopoulos Trio.
Not to be missed at the Inverloch Bowls Club will be Corella Trio, Bird Conference, Jazz Notes with Stuart Cardell, Primary Colours Trio, Pipes, Merri Creek Jazz Band, Deep South Brass, Chantelle and the Cat Cartel, Juxtaposed and Syncopaths.
The Teen Town Quintet and Hello January can be found at the Warrawee Club, the Jackson Wade Band at the RSL and repeat performances from some of the weekend’s best at the Inverloch Bowls Club.
