AUSNET has stated they are dealing with thousands of power outages due to the severe weather with properties affected at Inverloch and surrounds.
According to AusNet, there are currently 8400 customers without power throughout the state.
The outage tracker also states there are almost 400 customers affected in Inverloch.
“We've cancelled some planned works and currently have all available crews working to get the power back on. We're still assessing the damage in some areas, but we'll be able to give more accurate restoration times soon,” they stated.
“Please be careful around fallen powerlines and assume they're live.

“If there is damage to your property or your private electrical line, contact a registered electrician for repairs.”
