THE RECENT upgrade of Leongatha’s NAB branch demonstrates the bank’s commitment to the town.
“We’re here to support our customers and be part of the community for the long haul,” branch manager Catherine Spradbury said.
New flooring and a fresh coat of paint have created a brighter environment that feels more spacious, and a discussion area has been added.
“The changes make it easier for us to sit down and have proper chats with our customers, whether it’s about buying a home, starting a business or just sorting out everyday banking,” Catherine said.
There is always someone to support customers with their banking needs.
As well as providing traditional banking services, staff are ready to offer advice on internet banking and its features that continue to evolve.
Education on avoiding scams and fraud is also available to ensure customers are protecting themselves, and they can be put in touch with NAB’s fraud team if they have specific concerns they want addressed.
NAB Leongatha operates a Business Banking Centre, which houses its business banking team, led by local team leader Corinne Hoddinott who is supported by bankers local to the area.
The specialisations within the business banking team ensure it is ideally positioned to support small businesses as well as diversified and agri businesses.
The Leongatha branch has thrown its support behind the South Gippsland Bass Swimming Club and the
Leongatha & District Netball Association, further illustrating its commitment to the community.
Catherine said the improvements made to the branch show NAB’s belief in Leongatha, noting that as well as customers, the staff are enjoying the more vibrant
atmosphere.
“Our team is loving the new setup; it’s fresh, it’s modern and it really reflects the energy we bring to work every day,” she said, looking forward to more locals experiencing the new environment along with the ongoing friendly service.
