OVER 90 ladies attended Oaks Day at the San Remo Bowls Club.

Adopting the theme Birds of a Feather for Ladies Day 2025 a willing group of 15 men provided table service throughout the afternoon allowing the women to enjoy an elegant day of racing fun, fashion and fabulous company.

Local sponsors included Cape Winds San Remo, the Gurdies Winery, BEANd San Remo, San Remo Asian Grocery, Island Pies Newhaven, Saint Jules Café, Sanny Side Café, San Remo Lottery and Newsagency, Beemo San Remo and San Remo Chemist.

IGA San Remo donated chicken for the delicious lunch and Tony Halstead from Tides Bar and Grill in Tooradin donated succulent lamb.
