UPDATE 6.15PM: Police are still on the scene, however, other emergency services have been stood down alongside Police Airwing.
Sergeant Kade Murphy of Wothaggi Police said the response had been called off at 6.10pm. He confirmed that the woman had made her own way back up to the car park and this was been supported by a photograph of her back in the car park. The woman has now made her own way on from The Nobbies.
A large number of emergency services are now making their way away from the scene.
It's understood the woman walked down a track towards The Nobbies and was asked to come back by Phillip Island Nature Park staff but continued on her way. The staff lost sight of her, and the search was initiated some time later.
As they say, all's well that ends well...
