INVESTIGATIONS are continuing after a property in Leongatha was broken into last night with offenders attempting to steal the car.

It’s understood the offenders attempted to take off in a Chrysler but smashed it into a fence.

If anyone has information regarding the break-in and attempted theft or witnessed anything suspicious in Leongatha last night please contact Wonthaggi Crime Investigation Unit on 5671 4100 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
