Police investigate fatal E-bike crash in San Remo

POLICE are investigating following a fatal E-bike crash in San Remo on Sunday, November 5.

It’s understood a 40-year-old man from Officer left a residence on Laurett Avenue, San Remo, to ride the E-bike to a nearby petrol station on Phillip Island Road about 10.30pm.

The man returned home a short time later and informed family he had crashed the bike.

The man soon became unresponsive and was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital where he later died.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
