Old railway tracks were used to form the original retaining wall that is currently being rejuvenated as part of the upgrade works. C24_5023

“Aspects of Wonthaggi’s History through Street Names and Places” Sam Gatto’s latest book, has been completed and will be launched on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

15 Minutes of History talks will once again take place on fifteen consecutive days from January 6 to 20 from 11.30am at the Railway Station Museum.

Megal Sale to raise funds for the Historical Society will be held on Saturday, December 16, from 10am to 2pm at the Railway Station Museum. Local history publications by local authors, historical framed photographs, historical memorabilia and second-hand books will be on sale. Great and meaningful Christmas presents!
