KILCUNDA was thriving on Sunday with traffic slowed and side streets filled with locals and visitors flocking to the foreshore for the annual Kilcunda Lobster Festival.
Taylors Amusements rides and entertainment was an attraction from the road, drawing the attention of anyone visiting Bass Coast over the long weekend and the stall holders and live music kept everyone sticking around.
The CFA and SES were holding service displays, Rotary set up stage for live music and Bass Coast Shire Council managed waste stations for users to correctly dispose of their rubbish and reduce the amount that ends up in landfill.

The historic spinning wheel was a main attraction, with patrons lined up to purchase raffle tickets from Kilcunda District Community Association volunteers for the chance to win a fresh lobster from the
San Remo Fisherman’s Co-op, whilst kids were patiently waiting for their face painting.
The momentous day was another successful event for the history of the town.
