Wishing the Class of 2025 every success

AS FINAL exams draw near, I’d like to take a moment to wish every Year 12 student across eastern Victoria the very best of luck for their exams and future endeavours.

As a former secondary school teacher, I understand this time of year is often filled with nerves, excitement, and pressure, but it’s also a good time to reflect on how far you’ve come and what you’ve achieved.

Thirteen years of schooling have led to this moment – a testament to your hard work, perseverance and determination. You’ve faced challenges, adapted to change and continued striving toward your goals with resilience and grit.

As you contemplate your future and reflect, be proud of who you are and what you’ve accomplished.

Trust in the preparation you’ve done and know that your teachers, families and communities are behind you every step of the way.

Remember, success isn’t defined by a single exam result, it’s shaped by your attitude, effort and the values you carry forward.

Whether you’re taking up an apprenticeship, traineeship, starting work, or planning to study at university, I sincerely wish you every success in the next chapter of your journey.

You are the future of our community, and I believe in you.
