WELSHPOOL’S small army of trick-or-treaters hit the pavement after enjoying sausages in bread at the town’s new barbecue shelter.
They followed maps outlining which houses to visit in their quest for Halloween treats.
It was then off to the Welshpool Hotel for a spooky disco.
The Welshpool and District Advisory Group hosted the barbecue, with an array of Halloween ideas on show, ranging from zombies to dinosaurs.
It was the first major gathering for the new shelter, South Gippsland Shire Council responsible for the structure, with grant funding from the Toora and Foster Community Bank paying for the barbecues installed there.
