POLICE from the Inverloch Police Station are investigating a significant hit-run collision which occurred at the corner of Williams Street and Bayview Avenue in Inverloch (near the BP Service Station) during the early hours of Sunday, September 1, 2024.
Police have posted a message to the Bass Coast Police Eyewatch page appealing for help.
“It is believed that an unknown vehicle has driven north through the roundabout, then mounted the nature strip, colliding with a fence on the corner of the intersection, causing major damage to the fence.”
Police expect there to be substantial damage caused to the vehicle involved.
“Examination of debris from the vehicle (that were left at the scene), and Closed-Circuit Television from the area, is continuing to identify the vehicle and driver involved in the collision,” said police.
Inverloch Police are seeking assistance from the public as to any further information regarding this incident.
