IT IS with great excitement that Christie Nelson would like to announce she is now available to assist you with your real estate needs throughout the area via her new business; Christie Nelson Real Estate @realty.
Christie is already a familiar face in the real estate industry, having first stepped into the world of property in the year 2000 with loads of enthusiasm, big goals and a big smile to match, all traits that remain with her to this very day.
Over the years, Christie has gained experience, working with some great mentors and with most forms of property transactions, ranging from residential to rural, new subdivisions, commercial and industrial properties, farmland and her cheeky favourite, lifestyle properties, just to name a few. Christie has always been fascinated by the progressions in areas such as technology and web platforms and has been watching the evolution of the industry itself, particularly throughout Covid and post-Covid times.
“I remember when I first started in real estate, we would take our camera film across the road to Smith’s Chemist to have our photos developed for window cards.
“Now we’re utilising developments such as drones and artificial intelligence for our marketing and the internet and social media are also such strong tools.”
She recognises that it’s important to embrace ever-changing conditions and opportunities as opposed to resisting them, and that you can never stop learning in business and in life in order to grow and be the best version of yourself.
After growing up in Korumburra and Leongatha, Christie can’t imagine raising her blended family of six children anywhere else and is a strong ambassador for the lifestyle and sense of community the area has to offer and is an active volunteer whenever possible.
Christie has held a variety of education and leadership roles in the community over the last handful of years alongside her work and previous sidelines, having had a strong involvement with the Southern Business Women’s Network, Koonwarra Parkrun, regular feature contributions to Gippsland Lifestyle Magazine and Backbone magazine, as well as being in an inspirational role via her social networking business and own brand of active wear at one point in time.
Christie is currently one of 16 participants in the South Gippsland Shire Community Leadership Program and is enjoying learning new skills and gaining an insight into the world of local social planning, towards a bright future for the residents of South Gippsland.
Christie has always been proud of her professional and personable approach to real estate and believe the people are just as important as the property.
If you’re thinking about buying or selling or just require some friendly property advice, please don’t hesitate to contact Christie on 0407 812 904.
