THE Phillip Island and Districts Darts League is heating up as 26 sharp-shooters turned out for a fantastic night of action in round eight of the Spring Series. 

The energy was high, but the team of Marilyn, Paul, and Vince stole the show, firing their way to a dominant six-to-one victory. 

Their impressive performance proves that teamwork makes the dream work as the competition enters its most crucial stage.

It was a truly memorable night for vice president Vince Palladino, who, after contributing significantly to his team’s big win, stepped up and walked away with the magnificent San Remo Butchers meat tray raffle prize.

Congratulations to Vinnie on a well-deserved double victory.

In the individual standings, the tension is palpable. 

The race for the top is now tighter than ever. 

Bob managed to hold his lead, breaking the 50-point half-century barrier with 50 points. 

However, he can’t afford to miss a beat, as Paul is breathing down his neck, just one point behind on 49 points. 

Holding strong in third place is David Healey with 41 points. 

With the gaps so small, every match counts, and any of the top players could lead by next week.

The excitement doesn’t stop for the long weekend.

The darts action continues this coming Monday night, and players are urged to practice hard during the week.
