The day may have started of dreary but with lots of local activities in the area and families out and about, Corinella Fire Brigade and Bass Fire Brigade members headed down to Bass McDonalds for their annual Good Friday Appeal collection. “We are very, very honoured to be a part of this – helping to “Give for the kids” by raising money for the Royal Children’s Hospital, who forever are giving so much care to unwell children and their families.” The brigade raised $1600 by the final count, an incredible feat for four hours for the small Waterline communities.

CORINELLA/BASS
The day may have started of dreary but with lots of local activities in the area and families out and about, Corinella Fire Brigade and Bass Fire Brigade members headed down to Bass McDonalds for their annual Good Friday Appeal collection. The brigade raised $1600 by the final count, an incredible feat for four hours for the small Waterline communities.

SAN REMO
A longstanding community tradition that includes Newhaven, Cape Woolamai and Surf Beach/Sunderland Bay, the community raised in excess of $35,000. Spearheaded by San Remo Fire Brigade and supported by local businesses and community members.

INVERLOCH
A mighty team of eight Inverloch Fire Brigade members headed out on Friday across Inverloch and raised an impressive $2551, which grew to $6576 by the final count.

PHILLIP ISLAND
With the old truck out, Phillip Island Fire Brigade took charge on the corner of Thompson Avenue and Settlement Road as they raised $19,601.30 alongside the Phillip Island community and visitors.
