THE top Aussie and international talent continues to roll out at Archies Creek as tickets go on sale on Monday, October 17 for one of the world’s leading bluesmen of our time, two-time Grammy Award nominee, Eric Bibb
As part of an Australian tour which includes key regional towns as well as all the capital cities, he’ll be at the Archies Creek Hotel, courtesy of the Caravan Music Club team for an afternoon gig on Sunday, March 3.
Tickets went on sale on Monday this week and all of the reserves seats were quickly snapped up but you can still get general admission tickets.
Bibb is returning for the Aussie summer, and will perform the classics he is known and loved for on a tour that extends from Albany and Perth to the Blue Mountains and Byron Bay with Archies in between.
He’ll also be introducing brand-new material from his much-anticipated forthcoming album, titled Ridin’, which will be available ahead of its release date exclusively at the local show.
On this leg of the Ridin’ tour, Bibb fans will get the full, ramped up experience as Bibb is joined by his sensational band in March.
Bibb is the ultimate ‘blues brother’. A fiery singer with true soul, his career spans five decades and almost 40 albums. He is known and revered globally for having carved his own musical destiny with honesty and power. Grounded in the folk/blues tradition with contemporary sensibilities, Bibb’s music continues to reflect his thoughts on current world events, whilst remaining entertaining, uplifting and inspirational. And always relevant.
Whether in solo or full band mode, an Eric Bibb show promises to be a remarkable experience, not to be missed.
As Blues Brother actor, Dan Aykroyd famously declared to the American born singer, ‘You are what the blues in the new century should be about’.
