Veterans’ welfare focus of music events at The Inlet Hotel

TRISTAN J Ross is an acoustic soloist playing everything in music from the 1950s right through to the present and he’s set to kick off a big season of fundraising music events at The Inlet Hotel in Inverloch, starting Saturday, November 14, 8pm until late.

Organised by the Veterans Advocacy Centre, to raise awareness of suicide, homelessness, veteran advocacy and addiction in the veteran and farming community.

“We’ve got a lot of great artists lined up for 10 or a dozen events, from now into next year with the likes of Natalie Imbruglia coming down here in March,” said former Army major Glen Coburn.

“We’re kicking off with Tristan on Saturday, November 14, it’s free and everyone is welcome,” he said.

The Veterans Advocacy Centre in Boronia is a well-resourced support hub assisting veterans with advocacy, welfare, support, and camaraderie.

The centre, run by dedicated volunteers, primarily focuses on post-1975 veterans but extends its services to the broader veteran community.

It offers help with welfare, financial assistance, food and fuel vouchers, and guidance in navigating support systems. The centre is part of a network supported by local opportunity shops and community events, raising funds and awareness for veterans in need.”

The event has the support of the Inlet hotel, Nonna's Bakery, Calabria Wines, Inverloch RSL, Clancy's Printing and meat wholesaler Inverloch Farms Australia.
