Call for respect, cooperation

Have you ever watched the live Bass Coast Shire Council meetings?

For those that live in the Bunurong Ward - and voted for Councillor Les Larke - you should be outraged by his treatment by other councillors in these meetings.

Month after month Councillor Larke has asked questions about a myriad of things - requesting access to contracts (waste being one of them) - budgets - anything to do with council expenditure - but is constantly shut down.

Watching these council meetings actually makes me cringe witnessing this treatment of him.

I would like to remind all councillors that you are only there to represent those who voted for you - as Councillor Larke is endeavouring to do by these requests - so a great deal more respect and cooperation should be shown to him at the minimum.
