Well worth the read

Dear editor, congratulations to Stockdale & Leggo and the Sentinel for running the article “How The Pandemic Made The Rich Richer At The Expense Of The Rest Of Us”. 

Global charity Oxfam reports Australia’s 47 billionaires have “earned” $205 million a day over the last two years.

While those who lost their job due to COVID-19 are living on a meagre $45 a day, JobKeeper payment.

I would encourage all Sentinel readers, (particularly school children) to dust off last week’s newspaper and read page 34.
The article goes on to say it is time for voters to start reminding our politicians they are elected for all of us, not just the wealthy few.
