THE Melbourne Supreme Court has slapped a temporary ban on reporting details of proceedings from Friday, March 18 in the Phillip Island murder trial while certain court rulings are reviewed.
The exact nature of the review cannot be reported either as the procedural issues were not discussed in the presence of the jury.
A hearing on this order has been set down for Monday, March 21 at 10.30am.
The trial which is in its third day, hearing the murder charge against Adrian Basham, 44, the estranged husband of the deceased, Phillip Island psychologist Samantha Fraser, is set to run for six weeks before Justice Taylor.
