POLICE are investigating and have appealed for witnesses with CCTV and dashcam footage after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle turning right along Bass Highway this afternoon around 2.45pm.
It's understood the driver of a vehicle had slowed and was turning right onto Bambrook Road in Inverloch, when a motorcycle, also travelling in an easterly direction and allegedly travelling at speed, attempted to overtake multiple vehicles and collided with the turning vehicle.
Three passengers in the vehicle were uninjured with police, fire brigades, SES and paradmedics all present at the scene.
The motorcycle rider was airlifted to hospital, as a precaution due to the impact and is understood not to have life threatening injuries.
