MISSING Person Squad detectives have charged a Korumburra man in relation to the suspicious disappearance of Rosebud man Jake Bradford.
Local police conducted a number of enquiries following the 21-year-old’s missing person’s report by his mother on January 29, including several public appeals for assistance.
A 25-year-old Korumburra man was arrested Saturday night and has been charged with one count of murder.
The accused appeared before the Latrobe Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
No application for bail was made and the accused has been remanded in custody to appear before Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court in August.
Investigators believe the victim became involved in an altercation in the Foster North area on or around January 24.
Detectives also arrested a 25-year-old woman of no fixed address last Thursday, and she remains in custody on unrelated matters.
